I still remember the days when you had to use the phone book to find everything. I know that everyone likes to use the phrase “the good ole’ days,” but I for one definitely think that life is a lot better know thanks to the influence of technology. People can complain about technology all that they want, but I definitely think it has made our lives a whole lot easier.

To give you an example, I recently had to track down a specific jewelry manufacturer to ask them a question. Now, before computers and the Internet were around, this would have been a major pain. Since they aren’t a local jewelry manufacturer, I would have had to go out of my way to track them down. However, thanks to the Internet, all I had to do was pull up Google and type in their name. In less than a minute, I was on their web site and found the phone number I needed to contact them. I got a hold of them as soon as I called, and in less than ten minutes from the time I started, I had a concrete answer to the question that I had needed to ask!
